Yes, it’s official, I have been named as an Ambassador for their products after reviewing some of the work I have done over the years using their superb line of flashes. Ok not quite what this post is about but it is about Cape Town and Table mountain and being voted as one of the New 7 wonder of the world! I took some photos and landscape pics of the city with Nikon’s 45mm tilt and shift lens. Loving how easy it is to do panoramic shots with this lens! I should probably have used the lens at f5.6 but I really wanted to see the effect at f2.8. I’ll have more time when I get myself one!

Ollie and Bron tied the knot in December last year and celebrated their day of bliss at the Steenberg golf estate, enjoy! I especially liked their dancing photos, I always tell people that a DJ with disco lights make it more interesting, the throwing of the garter was also quite an experience with no-one jumping to catch it!

Thinking back to the times before photography was born, when masters like Van Gogh had to sit, watch and observe to get their work onto canvas. Now we press a button but there is still magic in doing a long exposure photo, it feels more real, like you are creating it.. Really wish I had my tripod with me that night..

The lovely couple had their entire wedding party at the Lagoon Beach Hotel overlooking Table Mountain and Cape Town. It was a wind chilled day but nothing went wrong and everyone had a blast!

Just quick upload before head for the weekend. To everyone’s disbelief this day could have been a Friday the 13th situation, everything that could go wrong almost did, but this brave and strong couple did not let that dampen their spirits and fought through to become victorious in the end, which is a great testament to how strong their relationship is!

From the hotel double booking a wedding on the same day, to allowing other guests of the hotel to move around and in between the wedding guests at the reception to them “misplacing” their Carol Boyes knife for cutting the cake the day was wrought with mishaps and unfortunate events. I also had my fair share of conundrums with my car breaking down, a gremlin in my camera, to almost choking to death and being so hungry that I bit a chunk out of my mouth We all survived and the images are magical!
